    Well, the description says it is for "moderate crime areas" ... meaning, it will dissuade a casual thief who has an easier target.

    A maxim which someone came up with a long time ago -- The lighter the bike, the heavier the lock.

    Conversely,if your bike is a rusty, 38lb. SEARS bike then you probably won't need a lock.

  3. Looks too short to go through the frame, a wheel and to whatever it is you're chaining too.
