  1. Since I've gotten a nice PT SL and a Tacx Fortius, I've been reading all about the MAP tests. My question now is how often should I do this test? This spring I'm going to put another harness for my PT on my TT bike so I figure that will give me some better numbers than indoors, but still curious.

    I'd say every 6-8 weeks.
Here's an item I wrote on conducting MAP tests.

Actually, that was what I was reading to make me think of doing a MAP test. Just curious about how often. I've heard 6-8 weeks, 3 times a year, once a month.

Mostly I was curious about if it is even worth it to do one now, but it probably would give me somewhere to start. I think I know roughly where I'd be this time of year, but I guess it's only 15 minutes and we just got dumped on with snow here. So no outside New Years ride since I don't have studded tires.
