Ideally what is the best frequency of LT rides each week for tne typical rider if a race is scheduled on the weekend...AND....if NO race is scheduled on a weekend. This is assuming one is in decent shape already and has a decent "base" under his belt.

As that's not the definition of LT (i.e., TT effort is considerably greater than LT), it's difficult to know what the original poster meant.
