the kh is better, but dont get me wrong, the nimbus with isis is still a
great unicycle, i rode it for a while before i got my k1. if you do end
up getting the nimbus your probably gonna wanna check the option on udc
to upgrade the cranks cuz the ones it comes with wont last to long if
your doing any kind street or trials on it. i had the standard ones on
mine and they bent inwards towards the frame in like a month and a
half. but if you can stand the wait save up for the kh, you'll be
happier in the long run

From what I've heard it's the same hub/cranks if you upgrade to moments
- but a heavier fame and weaker seatpost and seatpost/seat connection.
That sound about right?

yea. i've ridden both and the weight difference isn't too notcieable,
and the cranks/hub are pretty much the same if you upgrade. and i'm
sure that if you were doing some trails/street riding that the weaker
seatpost would come into play eventually; not to mention the big bulky
nimbus seat.

overall the kh is just a better unicycle, especially in the long run

If you are able to save up and get the KH, then do that. But you may be
better off buying the Nimbus - as then you will have left over money
(if you saved up...) to spend on upgrades (like the seatpost and base,
which could be upgraded on both unis).

a nimbus with a CrMo post (upgrade) Kh seat (upgrade) and
moments(upgrade) is better than a kh

yes a kh will be slightly lighter but please dont give me BS about
this, WEIGHT DOESNT MATTER THAT MUCH...

the main advantage of a nimbus is the hub and the rim, on the hub the
flanges wont bend and the rim is solid (stronger)

i voted for about the same, i would get a nimbus with a kh seat, CrMo
post and moments (total would come to about 320.00) and i would buy a
carbonfiber seatbase (the best upgrade any trials/street/flat rider can
get)

so the total price of the uni would come out to about $425.00

75 dollars less than a kh for an unarguably better unicycle

In my opinion, there is no point right now to get a solid rim because
really, most people don't ride their unis hard enough to need an
undrilled rim, and drilled rims are so much more stable and nice
because of their width.

How about this, why don't you get a Koxx one devil unicycle from
renegade juggling? $400 base price and you can customize everything on
it.

I you're very good get the KH

If you're not that great and are still learning, get the Nimbus

I voted Nimbus, its alot cheaper than KH and its still a good unicycle
becase its ISIS
ISIS Hub
Strong ISIS Cranks
Street Gel saddle
Light Weight
Alloy pedals
20x2.50 tyre

KH is better but NImbus is great

This is more or less what I did (except I got a scott wallis carbon
fiber base and thomson post) and I'm completely convinced that its a
better (and less expensive) ride than the KH with the upgrades
spoonthumb and I mentioned. Its the only intelligent way to go as far
as I'm concerned.

I voted for them being about the same but that was before I considered
value.

I would go with the nimbus with KH moments, I've heard that the KH is a
little bit stronger but it is much more expensive and the nimbus is
almost as good.

Your thread title is "leading" lol! Should have been more neutral, like:
"Which is better....." but anyway, the KH hands down,
