Hello all.
Was out the other day and snapped my chain in a few places...lost some links.
I have a new chain, but no old chain to measure from. I'm running an LX rear derailleur.
Anybody can tell me how long/how to measure what my chain length should be - or where I can look this info up?

with the chain on the smallest front, and the smallest rear chainring, the rear derailleur cage should be sprung just enough to provide about an inch clearance from the chain to the cage pulleys, with the chain on the largest front and rear rings, the cage should be pointing almost straight down yet shightly toward the front of the bike.
