Ok so I am now 50, but when I was younger I was on my bikes all day long and in great shape. I want to get back into the swing of riding again.
A couple of years ago I picked up a Fuji Sundance 1600FS bike. It was a reward thing from work. Been riding it the past couple of days.
I ride in a park or on the road, some hills nothing real steep. Some off trail and in the woods trails but certainly no mountains.
The bike feels good going downhill *s*. It has the Sunrace M30 in the back and twist shifters on the handlebar. I find it hard to get exactly the right gear and tend to either fly up one too many or down one too many. Seat is very uncomfortable, feels like a 2x4.
So.. is this bike any good? Can I fix the uncomfy seat by replacing it and can I correct the shifting?
If not I am willing to get a new bike, starting with going to a good bike shop and getting measured and fitted properly.
