I just bought a SRAM PC89R chain. How do they rate???? Are they suitable for tandems???
How do I measure the correct chain lenght????

Love SRAM/Sachs chains and always recommend them. Never had a problem.
They are suitable for any application.
Take it to a shop to get it installed.
Basicly the rear goes on like on any bike. The front you may have to adjust a little the BB to get the right tension.
