Fulcrum Racing Zero power meter not updating firmware, has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution that doesnt involve sending it back to the manufacturer for a firmware update they should be providing remotely in the first place. Is it really that hard to implement a user-friendly update process that doesnt require shipping the entire unit back and forth.
Ive tried using the Fulcrum software, the ANT+ app, and even the Garmin Connect IQ app, but nothing seems to work. Ive also tried updating the firmware through the Fulcrum website, but it just wont budge. Ive searched online and found a few threads with people experiencing similar issues, but no one seems to have a definitive solution.
Can anyone explain why its so difficult for manufacturers to provide a seamless firmware update process for their power meters. Is it a hardware limitation, a software issue, or just a lack of attention to detail. And more importantly, has anyone found a workaround that doesnt involve waiting weeks for the manufacturer to update the firmware.
Its frustrating to think that a device thats supposed to provide accurate and reliable data is being held back by something as simple as a firmware update. And its even more frustrating that the manufacturer doesnt seem to be taking this issue seriously. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution that actually works.
