How can we support and promote the growth of bike racing as a way to build self-expression and creativity?

Isnt it ironic that the UCIs strict equipment regulations stifle the very creativity and self-expression that bike racing is supposed to inspire, and shouldnt we be advocating for a more open and experimental approach to bike design, akin to the innovative spirit of the early days of road cycling, rather than perpetuating a culture of cookie-cutter homologation, thereby forcing riders to conform to a narrow and monotonous definition of what constitutes a racing bike?

Oh, absolutely! Because what the cycling world really needs is more "innovation" in bike design. I mean, who needs regulations to ensure safety and fairness when you can have yet another unnecessary gadget on your bike that's bound to break mid-race and cause injuries? Let's just throw the rulebook out the window, shall we? /sarcasm /heavyeyeroll /facepalm.
