Photographs of how abuse and stress affect neuron linkages in
the brain, and the size and shape of the brain in those
    targeted.

    http://www.psycheducation.org/mechanism/6atrophy.htm

Other studies show that the trasher kiddie that issues the
abuse suffers even more than his targets. Some of these
photos of dendron arm branching show the branches pruned back
badly in the case of depression...and rebranching again when
    the depression or stressor passed.

but these were long term studies... 3 to 5 years.

Shorter term there are instantaneous affects, that then last
for days..then become permanent if not corrected...meantime
the person under stress can be snapping at his wife or clients
and loose both... and have irreversible physical damage, such
as stroke or heart attack...those effects are both broader
    based and permanent.

The notion that abuse of others, that would by lying, false
accusations, willful ignorance etc is a fun past time and that
there is no real damage is false.

A person also affects his own brain structure as ive mentioned
by lying and abusing others...then justifying it...not only
does he get shrinkage of the brain...but he gets additional
misconnections that lock the behaviors in creating an every
worsening set of conditions for the person
