My unicycling fun was spoiled by loosing ability to mount. I did try various methods to no effect. It was unconfortable because being sllightly over my teens I thought it was it. I have met Mike Hinson recently and he said something to the effect 'mounting is like walking upstairs'. He also mentioned that he puts quite a lot of weight on near foot when static mounting. Both of this remarks were germinating in my beingnes and the outcome is I AM BACK TO STATIC MOUNTING 9 OUT OF 10. It was the communication with the positive intent. T U Mike.😄 All the best Witold.

Congratulations on being back to mounting. Mike's advice is not for everyone though. My problem when I learned static mounting was that I put too much weight on the near foot. But the amount of weight needed/tolerated is related to where the near crank is when you begin the mount. Higher means more weight.
