  1. Honey-Barbecued Wings

    Classic American Barbecue, 1994 CPI

    Serving Size : 4

    3 pounds chicken wings
    1/3 cup honey
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 cup water
    3 tablespoons ketchup
    2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice, or vinegar
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 cloves garlic, finely minced

Preheat oven to 325º. Prepare wings by removing tips and cutting wings
    in halves.
Combine sauce ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to boil and remove
from heat. Dip wings in sauce, then lay them in a roasting pan. Cover
with remaining sauce. Bake for 45 minutes, basting often. Turn wings
over and bake another 15 to 20 minutes or until wings are well browned.
