  1. I have done this and it is wonderful, just like the store-bought.

    1 cup cultured buttermilk 4 cups low-fat milk I used regular.

    Heat milk til bubbles form around edges of pan. Pour in to a clean container and add the buttermilk.
    Mix well and cover. Let stand on the counter overnight. You can drink it or use it in your recipes.
    I found that it is quite thick made with the regular milk. It is good though. Just keep a cup of
    mixture for the next time. You can keep it going and going. Barb
