The legendary Gunnar Shogren attacking hard on John Fox Road. I actually sprinted to a better finishing position, beating him in a mixed-cat road race...when Gunnar was about 15 years old! [IMG]/img/vbsmilies/smilies/biggrin.gif[/IMG] Now, I would need a GPS just to track how far ahead of me he was! [IMG]/img/vbsmilies/smilies/mad.gif[/IMG] Gunnar holds the single-speed course record @ 4 Hrs. 30 Min.

It does take a couple minutes to load even with a fast connection.
Over 100° F on race day! 76 miles of difficult terrain. Riders that have competed in both events say that the Hilly Billy is more difficult than Battenkill.
