  1. i was just given an old high wheel bike. its in semi rough shape i.e. bent wheel paint ect. could any1 give me some advice as to what this thing is worth and is there someplace that could tell me what i have.

  2. By your description it sounds like a bike called a Penny Farthing. There are reproductions available that usually run about $1000 USD. I could not guess what a used and in rough shape PF would be worth. I suggest that you find an antiques dealer or a bicycle museum.

    This is a guy's amateur museum. I met him a few weeks ago at a bicyle gathering. he has everything vinatage and is very friendly. Shoot him an email with a pic, I sure he will know.
