I was just wondering is there any reason these would not be allowed during induction? I've found a company ( Celestial Seasonings) that does some fantastic fruity teas, they are carb free and some are naturally caffine free too. They have really helped me get over the cravings I was having for fresh fruit. However I'm sure I've read something somewhere on one of the low carb websites that says, 'you can't have them during induction'. Any advice? Thanks, Denise

I believe Atkins' worries about the amount of caffeine consumed, as it can cause blood sugar to go too low in some people and cause cravings. Since you have found some caffeine free teas, I would think you can use those without worry. I never cut out the coffee during induction. I usually drink green tea which does have some caffeine. In the evenings I'll drink rooisbos tea which is naturally caffeine free.
