Help with Trek 1400

If it's one of these - http://www.trekbikes.com.au/catalogue.cgi?rm=product&product_id=7&subcategory_id=1 - and it has no problems, then the price is very good. If it's new, then it's a great deal. It is also a very good entry level bike.

Hi, don't know if you have already bought the Trek 1400. I am in South Africa, and going on your price in dollars, it's a good price. Used 1400 will go for+/- $1000.00 here. I have ridden one for a year now (105 groupset) and I have had no problems. Enjoy it.

I think you are going to get hosed. Don't think what he expalined...be damm sure. That is too good a deal,not to have a surprise somewhere.
