  1. Hiya, quick question, I have garnered that the best rollers out there are the Kreitler ones. So my question is this, if I ride 25 miles a day 4 days a week, at about 22mph which rollers should I get? the challenger i guess are the weak ones, but I was thinking Dyno-lyte or would the dyno-myte be good? or the poly lyte? see what I mean kinda confusing so which one would suit me the best if I'm a pretty hardcore rider 4 days a week including a long drawn out hill.
    Thanks

  2. I don't ride quite as fast as you, but my rides are usually a little longer so I guess we are somewhat comparable. I have had a set of Kreitler Dyno-Lyte rollers for about two years. Besides having a little rust on them now, they are in excellent shape and have served me well. The size of these drums provides enough resistance for me to get my heartrate up while riding at around 23-25 mph. If I want to max my heartrate, I drop into a 53-12 gear and keep my cadence at around 95-100. This usually gets me to my max pretty quickly.

If the Dyno Lytes don't provide enough resistance for you, you could always add the Killer Headwind also from Kreitler. I don't have any experience with the Dyno-Myte, so I can't really comment on them. I have always wondered if the Dyno-Myte would wear a rear tire out faster than the Dyno-Lyte due to the increased scrubbing effect of smaller drums.

    Hope this helps!
