A friend of mine has just had the back wheel nicked off of her Ridgeback
Velocity (2003 model)
I've tried to get the wheel size from her over the phone but can't figure
out if it's 37-622 or 35-700C :-p
Anyway I was wondering if you could point us in the direction of a cheap
replacement (she's just been made redundant - good week all round really)
Either that or are there any second hand bike shops in Bristol who might
be

TIA for any help
A quick visit to the Ridgeback web site www.ridgeback.co.uk should lead
to the technical specs for the bike in question.
Try your local bike shop. You just might get a bargain. Is there a 'student
zone'
in Bristol. Here in Leeds there's a plethora of s/h shops near the student
ghettoes
many of the sell bikes though I doubt they'll have a wheel to spare.
As a long shot, you might want to try the local domestic waste reclamation
centre.
There's always a dozen or more bikes propped up awaiting their fate at my
local
site. Some of them ar in very good working order, nearly all of them are in
working
order and a few are wrecks . Try them you never know.....
