  1. Hi all

Im a noob here. I was given a bicycle from my uncle to use to get some excersize with and hopefully lose weight. unfortunately the back wheel buckled slightly and spoke came out when going over a small 10mm thick twig at speed.

the bike is about 15 years old and is a 'specialized' sort of racer/cross/mountain bike thing - it has a light alloy frame with racing wheels with thick tyres on them

can anyone advise where I can find a replacement back wheel for cheap? second hand even as I have little money.

Iam in UK, Blaydon, Gateshead area

the info on the wheel says:

    SPOKE LENGTH:
    DRIVE SIDE: 294MM
    NON-DRIVE: 297MM
    6061-T6 622-13

    thank you

  2. people at the bike store can fix it for you,
they will also check for you the entire wheel as prevention,
