Hi all,
am new to MTB, as i sold my last bike 15 years ago to get my car license! I am looking at getting a new MTB hardtail if possible, on a budget of $650AU. So far i have looked at Merida TFS 100D, Felt Q620, and Cell bikes. I know the Merida and Felt are reasonable brands. I was ready to buy the Merida, but there are none available in Australia. Ditto for the Felt. I don't know anything about Cell bikes, but some of the components look about the level i am looking at. Is Cell worth getting? Could anybody guide me as to what my other options are, as i can't get my first 2 options. What is a decent brand frame, with good forks, cranks, gears, discs. Is there something more important i am overlooking. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
