Dinner of salad with pears, apples & Maytag blue, pork
tenderloin, Israeli couscous, roasted asparagus and
raspberry parfaits turned out very well and the new dinner
guests ate every bite and were impressed. I think we've
really cemented this new friendship and they've invited us
to lunch and a tour to some of the Temecula, CA wineries.
Thanks for all your input. Glad I stopped lurking and
actively started participating. Gigi

Great, Gigi! Tell us more about the raspberry parfaits. Was
it just ice cream and some kind of raspberry puree in
parfait glasses? (Ever see the movie Shrek? "Everybody loves
parfait." ) -

Great, Gigi! Tell us more about the raspberry parfaits.
Was it just ice cream and some kind of raspberry puree in
parfait glasses? (Ever see the movie Shrek? "Everybody
loves parfait." )The raspberry puree was made with frozen raspberries, lemon
juice & sugar. The white part was white chocolate, milk and
Knox plain gelatin folded into whipped cream. They were good
but richer than I expected. I don't think I'd make them
again unless they were for a real simple meal like crab
Louie or chicken salad. Gigi
