Help with an old Scwhinn

Find the serial number. Either under the bottom bracket, on
the LH rear dropout or on the RH side of the head tube (One
of those should do it for you). The serial number is coded
with the manufacture date.

Um .... so what's the code? The s/n on my old Schwinn is of
the form #L####, where # are digits and L is a letter.
