Help! Truing disk brake rotors?

  1. I?ve seen ads for dial indicator setups for truing disk brake rotors, so I assume it can be done.
    However I?ve never seen any mention of the tools and techniques used to bend/warp/mangle the rotors
    back into shape.

    Anybody know anything about how this is done? What tools? Does the rotor stay on the hub? Do
    you loosen the 6 bolts, slightly? Remove the caliper? The rotor is a Magura Julie, on a Hase
    Lepus trike.
