Did I misunderstand the reason for the trail version of Polars software?
It will not let me connect the watch via IR; reports that "This Feature is Not Available at Trial Version".
What is the point of the trial?

why are you using the trial version? the full working version should of came with your polar heart moniter?
Also theres an update from version 3.0 to 4.00.22

The software is a must have, without it you'd be better off purchasing some low end model heart moniter. I'm not sure if this would work but if I were you I'd give polar a call and explain to them that you purchased the s710i at a LBS and you've lost the software cd. Hopefully they should re-send you a copy at no cost. Hope this helps.
