Hi, I live in uk, but holiday in Spain and would like to bake bread while there. I have been unable to identify strong or bread flour in the shops. Does anyone know what it would be called and where in Alicante I may be able to get it?
Some people think i am very sad baking on hols, but i love it too much! So far I have only found Harina de Trigo (wheat flour) that is not strong enough, and unlike in the uk, most do not put the protein content on the pack.

Do you speak Spanish? If yes, why not walk into una panadería and ask someone about the different types of flour? You might have to buy something to thank them for their kindness, but so what?
