    I have Mavic components ( 1990-01 aero crank) on my Vitus (1982). The group came with a spider that would allow a third chainring. The groupo was 7-speed indexed. With the detailers it was supposed to handle a mid-to-high 30's inner chainring.

    I am looking for info on what inner chainring I can add and does anyone know if the supplied derailers and bottom bracket can handle it. I seem to remember it would.
