My husband age 75 recently had a quadruple bypass (10 days ago) and as the
caregiver I need as much help as possible. At this point in time is it okay
for him to take short trips to the store, post office, library etc. (Of
course I would do the driving this I understand) He seems to be tired much
of the time, but I think that getting out a little would be good for him.
Of course I do not want to push too hard, but on the other hand I do not
want to sit back and do nothing to help in his recovery. Unfortunately
there is much info for recovering patients but very little info on the role
of the caregiver (and believe me we need info.) Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you, Ina Levitt
