  1. After spending the summer riding my dads knackered old road bike I want to buy myself a bike before
going back to uni. Any suggestions with about a budget of only about £500 to spend? I'm more
interested in getting a decent frame and can upgrade the components when needed. I quite fancy a
Bianchi i've seen. Would anyone recommend them? Although I'm not expecting Jan Ullrich style
    strength straight away!

Any information about clubs in or around sheffield would also be much appreciated. I'd class myself
as being relatively fit from running and am hoping to enter some races next year after a winters
training. At the moment i'm doing about 50 miles in 1.30 to 2 hours. Having nothing to compare these
times to is it respectable for a training ride?

Any help would be great, TVR

The British record for 50 miles is 1hr 37mins. If you are doing it 7 minutes faster either you are a
potential Olympic TT medalist next year or you need to get your bike's computer properly calibrated.

    Regards! Stephen

  3. Ok my mistake, i actually meant 50 km's.

I suggest you forget about buying a cycle and get yourself sponsored!
