Hi,
I am not new to riding a bike (Rode one when I was a small kid)๐
Now that i'm a big kid I want a new bike to go on local bike tours.
The local bike shop is a Raleigh dealer and can get me a new Raleigh Prestige all carbon with Shimano Dura Ace group in a 62cm for $1950.00.
Would this make me a good bike and would you consider that a good price?
Thanks for any help or advice oterwise you all might have!

I'd say that's a heckuva bike. One you will have for a very long time and won't have need to upgrade or upgrade from to a "better" bike. The price is great for carbon fiber and the component group. For a first bike, since you were a kid, I'd say it's like buying a Corvette for your first car since driving the parent's Pinto when you were learning how to drive.Rob
