It appears to be a mid eighties GIOS Professional, but some features don't add up.
It has a Cinelli bottom bracket shell. I thought GIOS bikes had their own GT stamped BB shell.
The lugs appear to be Gipiemme (the rr brake arch is anyway). They are very thin.
The seat stays join the seat lug in the typical GIOS fashion.
I can send pix to any GIOS cognoscenti out there. I am trying to decide if the frame is worth
restoring. It sure rides nice.

IIRC, Gios Pro frames had some of the steepest angles and shortest wheelbases in a road bike. I
think it had a 75 degree seat tube and a 74.5 degree head tube. The wheelbase was very short as
well..something like 38
3/4" I think. You could have it measured and see if you're in the ball park. Most Italian frames
were more relaxed in their geometry back then. Also, the Gios had a rivetted head tube logo,
didn't it?
