Ok, I've just bought my first disk brake bike. I have hydralic brakes now and one is firm the other will touch the handle bar when pulled. whats going on. i have looked at bleed kits but dont have a baldy what to do.

What kind of brakes do your have?
There is an adjustment screw somewhere on the lever area.
On Hayes it is under the lever and it is a allen screw (eccept the el caminos which is a knob under the lever)Try that first as it may not be air. If it is air, either get the kit or to make sure have your LBS bleed it.
