Hi all, I'm going to college! Those of you who know don't know me personally are excused from being 'pleasantly surprised'. Anyway, I'm going to Penn State and figured that I should bring a bike with me. I don't plan on doing much, if any offroading (according to school rules I'm not even really allowed to use it on a sidewalk) I was leaning more towards taking my mtn. bike with me. I have an old but still lovely raleigh that could come with me, vs. the mountain bike which is a mongoose Rockadile sx. Roads up there are fine, and I'll be done by august so I don't have to worry about snow just yet. What're the advantages to each one?
