Hi to all!
I'll try to make this short. I have been trying to exercise for many
years - with all kinds of routines and several different trainers. I
had a good diet. Everything was by and not by the book. ZERO gains. All
my upper limbs became dystrophic over time and it seemed nothing is
gonna help. My belly got so big with the rest of my body lean (funny, I
know). Next came, not very long ago, the loss of sexual drive (from low
to nothing). I have tested testosterone since 18, also bioavailable T,
it was always on the low part of the scale but 'normal'.
Luckily, I have seen an andrologist that after some experimentation
suggested that for young people T should be above the median norm, as
the norm is built for 18+. He joked I'm right in the norm of 70 years
old. I started taking T and this is not easy to stabilize but lately
it's always in the upper half of the norm. I take about 200mg/week in a
long acting depot form.
This did return my libido and some (only some) acne.
I was very skeptic about any gains in the gym (apparently wasting a lot
of money and never going there - not quite motivating not to say
traumatic...). Anyway, I started training lately and the baseline
strength was higher than I have ever achieved with proper training. I
make considerable gains lately and for me - this is a miracle.
The only problem is that my weight gets up (fine), nothing to see yet
(wait, I know) but my belly got even larger. I suspected Estradiol was
too high - water retention, and got equipped with tamoxifen, Arimidex
and Proviron - all from the pharmacy, clean and cheap.
I first tried Tamoxifen 20mg for several days, lost some weight and
felt terrible, it made lots of side effects and this substance simply
doesn't seem safe. I have tried Proviron 50mg for the last week, my sex
drive became like my friends at 16 but no weight loss. Checked plasma
Estradiol levels and they were 3 times the usual BUT right in the
middle of the norm for men. My Doc was shocked by the astonishing
cholesterol profile. She suggested I have statins in the tap water...
Whatsoever, I don't really know what to do now. Make more abs training
like a manic? Wait? Change the Proviron dose? Switch to Arimidex? I
fear the side effects.
I have been reading this group for years upon years. You seem very
knowledgeable. Eagerly waiting for your advice!
Thanks,
Herb
