Hello. Now that my Polar CS200 has definitely died, I am starting to think seriously about purchasing a new ANT+ Power system.

I think the sensor is gonna be a Quarq Cinquo with Rotor 3D cranks (whenever they can be delivered to Europe)Quarq Technology , since SRM system is too expensive, and Powertap is not a solution for me, since I have got Mavic Cosmic Ultimate wheels for racing.

Explained that, my question is about choosing a computer for it, and I have the next options:

- Ibike IAero --> iBike-Europe: Medidor de potencia, Potenciómetro, Programas de entrenamiento, Entrenamiento por intervalos, Ciclocomputador, Coeficiente aerodinámico
- Garmin Edge 705 --> https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...10885#specsTab
- Garmin Edge 500 --> https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...en_EN#specsTab
- Cycleops Joule 2.0 --> Saris Cycling Group

Which one do you prefer and why? (U can show other computers)

Thanks very much!

You said that you want to purchase a new ANT + Power System? Of your choices, only one is a "Power Meter"- the iBike Aero (which I happen to own and like- in addition to owning a Cycleops Power Tap). The others are just head units that read ANT+ Sport protocol Power Meters. Instead of the Quarq Cinco did you consider the new PM from Metrigear? I'm not sure how good it is, but it sure looks cool. You can match that up with a Garmin Edge 500 or 705 (w/ GPS and elevation) and have just about any piece of data you can possibly want from a ride. You'd definitely have TSTWKT! Cheers Rob

My Polar died as well (well, it won't shut off) -- I have a Powertap head unit but use the polar when not using the PT or to map a course elevation-wise.

I am looking at the Garmin 310 XT (would be good for running/cycling), but i have heard it does not work with WKO.

Another thought is the new Edge 500 -- hopefully it is lighter/smaller than the 705.

This would involve getting new cadence sensors on my bikes, but cannot be helped I guess.

Well the Edge 500 just came out and the Joule isn't even out yet, so you won't get many comments on those. I have an Edge 705 and, while I like it and would buy it again, it should be better than it is (some software bugs). Don't know anything about the ibike.

Simple answer: if you want mapping capability buy the 705. If you want GPS tracks of your rides but don't care about mapping capability, get the 500. If you don't need GPS at all, get the Joule. Not sure where the ibike fits into all this.

BTW my new Quarq is on its way1 (former happy PT user)
