  1. Two utensils in my kitchen I can't identify. It's stumped alot of folks.
Now I put it to RFCers to settle the matters.

The images are posted in alt.binaries.food. Both are shown at about exact
    size.

See subjects with "what is this utensil for" in two separate posts.

I'd like to know what they're called and how to hold them and what they
    do!

    TIA,

    Andy

"We have no clue. The lettering reads "Rivalinox" and Made in France."

Pizza cutter? Gateaux/cake/similar slicer? Couldn't tell you for sure
    though...

"This utensil is so strange. The text on the handle reads "Capri-Italy" and
"Stainless" The kidney shape bevels an edge into the center, one edge has a
series of alternating teeth with surfaces like a course file. That hole,
who knows? On the other side the patch of tiny squares are flush with the
    surface metal. It's very heavy!"

    Clueless!

The first item is a mesaluna (sp?) meaning half moon and is used for
chopping vegetables especially in a curved wooden bowl. I have a
couple of the including a double.

No ideas about the second one.
