  1. i have just started cycling but when i cycle after a few miles my lower back gets numb and a horrible pain which ruins my ride so i turn back and go home🙁 i dont know if it is my fitness, i tried changing my saddle height but it still hurts. will it go when i keep training and riding? help wud b appreciated

  2. You will probably get better information if you share a few more details, such as: Where specifically does your lower back hurt? What is your sex, height and weight? What kind of bike do you ride? What size is your bike? How did you select your bike size? What pace and cadence are you riding? Do you warm up or just go full speed right away? Do you stretch before or after? What's your saddle? What's the topography of your usual ride(s)?

FWIW, a common problem for new/returning riders is soreness of the gluteus medius muscles. These are the muscles that wrap around your lower back on both sides and they are involved in the leg's downstroke. I am nursing sore gluteus medius muscles right now, because I got a little too ambitious a little too soon with my intervals.
