OK, I'll admit right up front that I don't follow cycling that closely
year round, and I haven't heard any mention fo this on the TDF
broadcasts. Have the rules regarding helmets changed? Near the end of
stage 15, I kept waiting for the riders to pitch their helmets, since
the stage ended at the top of the climb - but they kept them on. I
figured either the rules changed, or the helmet manufacturers threatened
to cut back sponsor money!
