Ah. So you don't understand Usenet threading models either, then.

No. Or yes. Depends.
Why don't you take the time to do some research of your own - you're
clearly
new round here, so it may be worth your while checking the newsgroup
archives to find out what has been said many many times already.I'll not pretend this is a trivial task - but it's a worthwhile way of
catching up with the many years of discussion some of us have endured.clive
No need to be patronising. Do your own research and you might want to
reconsider your definition of new!
Hmm, since August 2003. So how the hell have you managed to miss all the
discussion over the past year telling you where you went wrong? Ah - you got
ignored last time you posted your anecdote.
And I make no apologies for being patronising - you clearly haven't looked
up the answers to any of the questions you're asking.

Sorry but this type of poll won't give you much info.
But FWIW in this household its 6 x No,
....except when the children wear them because either the regulations of
cycle-racing or the rules of scouting say so.

Wow, weird handle there 'Bonnington Symbol System'.
Please note that I'm not implicitely saying yes by posting here. Maybe
I should post an equivalent no as I'm a 'sometimes' . Or maybe a ratio
of yes and nos based on recent riding experience mileage. Or time on
saddle. Or something.
Wow wednesday afternoons are dull.

I'm a no, except if I have to and currently these occasions are so rare
that my enjoyment/comfort is not compromised too much.

I think this is a troll to re-activate the exceedingly boring helmet debate.
I disliked being asked to jump through hoops to satisfy a puerile 'poll'. I
propose you stand on a street corner for an hour and make your own judgement

What a stupid way to run a poll .. it won't thread in many newsreaders ..
I sometimes wear a helmet and sometimes don't depends on where I'm riding,
what I'm riding and what I'm gonna do whilst riding .. 😉
And the weather, and my general feeling of well-being, the speed I think
I'll be riding at, the general state of the roads/trails/hills, what time it
is, whether I've been to the bog yet, what colour the sky is etc etc
I don't follow any rules about when and where I wear a helmet, but mostly I
wear one whilst off-roading or racing, and mostly don't wear one whilst
riding on roads ...

Further to my last post, and having just re-read this OP ...
Would the YES in the subject line mean I don't wear a helmet or what ?
Your poll question is a tad ambiguous.

Sometimes on the upright when it's raining. Good for keeping rain off,
