By accident a few weeks ago,I found that eating a few(3 to 6)
Nabisco Ginger Snaps stopped my acid reflux/heartburn.

I tried several different brands and found two that worked.

Nabisco and Mrs Hanes Cookies(mrshanescookies.com).

If the snaps don't slightly burn as they are chewed they did not seem
to contain enough ginger to function.

Ginger is reported to be of help with digestive problems. I find the ginger
increases the esophagus burn along with the sugar and wheat, being a bad one
for reflux.

Go to the produce aisle at supermarket and buy a small portion of ginger
(root). At home, boil some water in a pan or microwave dish. Chop up the ginger
some and place it in the hot water to steep...for...maybe 5 or 10 minutes.
Drink the "ginger tea" hot or cold. It cures upset stomach.

Or try "crystalized ginger." This is slices of ginger, sweetened and sugar
coated, and available in most supermarkets. I have no idea if it helps
indigestion, but it sure does taste good.
