  1. About 3 weeks ago I got sick. it was an upper respiratory infection. I was down and off the bike for about 8 days. I waited till I felt better then just ok, and my heart rate to get back down close to where it was, it was high 40s low 50s it got back down to about mid 50s. So I eased back into training. Short rides at intensities that almost drove me crazy, I thought I had down everything right but now my resting HR is about 10 or more beats high. Im lucky if it is in the high 50s in the mornings.

So my question is what should I do to fix this. I have never had to take that long off of training before so Im not sure how to handle something like this.
