I recently learned that I have heart disease. I was
experiencing chest pains. I had a angiogram done and learned
that one of the main arteries leading to my heart was
blocked. My heart had compensated for that and routed around
that blockage. The chest pain was caused by a very small
blocked vessel. Too small to open it for fear that it might
burst. The doctor said it was blocked for life. Is this
true? Is there no way to unblock it outside of surgery? If I
eat right, exercise and take my medication, won't that
unblock it? From what I've learned about heart disease, it
seems that it will just get worse. It's just progressive.
Thanks for any tips or advice.
