I get headaches which are definitely worse when I lie down,
and almost disappear as soon as I stand up. Is this
anything unusual?
Best wishes,
Graeme

I don't know if it's unusual, but I had similar sypmtoms.
My headaches were completely relieved by yogi Valsalva. This
is hard work, and you should speak with your doctor before
attempting Valsalva.
And don't do it standing up, because you could pass out.
Doh! It reduces the heart rate and blood pressure. Actually
Valsalva increases bp but the yogi form catches the fall
back and makes bp and hr drop. Thus, instant relief. But not
every time. Sometimes I just can't get it, and I took
Excedrin then, and Tylenol now. Then, headaches were
frequent and serious. Now, they are much less frequent, and
less severe.
