  1. I have not and don't expect to. Even when I was trekking in Spain a couple
    of weeks ago I don't think she was that relevent to my life. Why the ****
    did I get two text messages from Vodafone asking me to call the police if I
    knoew where she was? In fact, one message came through to me when I was
    desperately trying to find out where I was as the local map was not very
    good. It had crossed my mind to reply with the question as to where I was,
    which probably would have taken a few hours at most for them to calculate.

    Whilst the parent's anguish is undertandably palpable, if they'd
    looked after her properly, instead of going out wining and dining,
    they wouldn't have lost her in the first place.

    All truth passes through three stages:
    First, it is ridiculed;
    Second, it is violently opposed; and
    Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

    Quite. Although I don't agree with your views on rights-of-way, I am in
    the same mind as you here. Of course it's a horrendous crime, but I
    don't think parents of three-year-old children should leave them on
    their own while going out on holiday making merry. And the dreadful
    circus the media are involved in reminds me of the time that stupid
    Liverpool man got held kidnapped and then murdered in Iraq.
