While riding your bike have you ever struck back at a car that cut you off, nearly hit you, etc?
I once threw a water bottle at a speeding truck on a forest road. Others folks I know have done much more, like throwing coins, u-locks and getting off the bike and pounding on cars. The worse i know of is a friend in Boston that picked up his bike and tossed it at a car.
While walking I have reached out and hit a few cars. A while back a guy in a Trooper cut me off in a crosswalk so I punched the rear quarter panel. He stopped, he was not happy. I has made me think I got to calm down or I am going to get a beating or shot.

The only time the vehicle has stuck around long enough after coming close to me or hitting me for me to still be mad?? I got hit by a police cruiser.

...or prison time. The last guy who got into it with me, spent 9 months in prison for assault and battery with a deadly weapon 2 days before X-Mass, and he wrecked up his car too. My car got scratched a little, and I got close to $3k for it.

No, I've never gone offensive physically. Once I did choose not to move over when for safety reasons I should have. It was on a street that has parked cars and effectively one wide lane for each direction. Coming up to a T-intersection, parked cars lane ends amd becomes a right turn lane and the travel lane becomes the left turn lane. I was turning left so after looking back to check the traffic behind me and making eye contact, I move a little to the left to take the left turning lane. Of course cars often think they can zip around you there. Guy comes around and doesn't have enough time to get back in before stopping behind other cars alreadystopped at the light. So he slowly starts moving over as if I'm not there. I didn't move and hollered "What's your problem!" at him just before he bumped into me. Fortunately this is at very low speed as we are approaching a red light I leaned over and looked into the car at him and he kinda gave me this stupid sorry look. Looking back it would have still been dangerous for me to slip over into the right lane because who knows what was coming up in that lane, but it probably would have been safer for me to just split the lanes and go to the front like many cyclists do. Fortunately he was not one of the mos cruel people out there.
