have i bought a [censored] bike

I've never heard of it. what components are on it?

I don't understand why people haven't heard of such popular, i suppose 'cheaper' manufacturers. These bikes are seen almost everywhere - Carrera I do know of (Is it a Halfords only brand?)
One of my friends has a Carrera Fury and it is a fine entry level bike. If you are happy with it and see no reason for a thousand pound bike wearing a proud badge for what you do, then no, it is not a '[censored] bike'.

probob, one of my friends has the vulcan. I think its a really nice bike for the money. I was pretty impressed with it. Feels solid to ride and has nice bars and stem. The only thing I would be concerned about are the rims and forks, there the parts I would upgrade if I were to go riding on it, but thats just me. I think its a sound bike, maybe a bit on the heavy side but feels well built and has decent gears and shifters aswell. I particularly like the integrated headset!
