    The luggage was a [censored]. I sent my housemate to the station with my
    luggage in the taxi, since he was leaving at the same time I was.

    I did ride my bike to the station with the panniers on.

    I also discovered don't do quick maintenance work on the bike before
    an event, and not test it all out. I put the rack legs on the wrong
    side, and when I flicked into top gear, the chain got stuck, carving a
    good chunk out of the bolt.

    I had a lot of fun on the ride. It could have been 10 degrees cooler
    though, on days. I'll petition them to change that next year. I'll
    write up some stuff later on. Lots to do. Lots to clean. Dust, mould
    and grease everwhere.
