  1. NEWS RELEASE
Recently visitors to a newsgroup known as sci.med.nutrition have complained
that threads in progress have terrorized by a phenomenon known as 'mooshing'
    or 'mooshism'.
While the investigation is still ongoing, the following unsubstantiated data
    are offered:

Terrorizes innocent news posters Feels threatened by
science which is not in 40+ year old text books. Is a major
obstacle to public nutritional discourse. Is a 'legend in
his own mind', which imagines itself in an Ivory Tower
somewhere, but in reality lives in a nursing home in
Western Australia. (normally, a relaxed and 'laid back'
kind of place, I believe, where beer is drunk) Has been
known to exhibit a sort of obsequiousness in the presence
of physicians of perceived equal "Ivory Tower" status. May
have Delusions of Grandeur perhaps triggered by an ancestor
    who was an Oxford Don.

Fortunately takes long camping trips in the desert (known as
'going walkabout'😉 searching for rare plants and animals
containing eucalories. Has been rumoured to exhibit
territory marking behaviour in the outback (not unlike the
behaviour of timber wolves, coyotes, and dingoes) Observers
have suggested that newsgroup behaviour may be similarly
motivated. (fortunately spoor size indicate both short
attention span and urine capacity) May be nutritionally
disadvantaged. Other investigators have noted similarities
to Osama bin Laden, but this poster is thought to be a
loner, and has no supporting network or mooshist friends.
(possibly a former connection with John 'the man' Gohde,
    troll extraordinaire)

Donald Rumsfeld once offered to 'liberate' Western Oz,
and the World, from mooshification and bring him into
Guantanamo, but nothing came of it once Iraq started
    to go south.

Walkabouts offer smn denizens periods of welcome relief,
but of course, eventually topic mooshification is back,
more voracious than ever, for threads with even a tiny hint
of intelligence, or new fangled (always bungled) attempts
    at science.

While periods of 'block sender' on the newsreader provide
helpful relief, inevitably would be posters are drawn back
by the sheer power of the mooshe's soaring intellect,
imaginative use of words, a delightful sense of outback
humour, and a cracked-phonograph nutritional rendition that
    delights the ear. (eye)

Too much time on your hands, Mikey, or are you still
smartin' over my showing up your ignorance of diabetes?

Credit where credit is due, though, Mikey. That's
    rather funny.

Pity you couldn't put some of that thought process into
    addressing the topics.

    Ha, ... Hah, Ha!

I thought that Moosh Brain was a victim of the outback?

Neither does Moosh engage in walkabouts! She rides a four
wheel bicycle of her own invention.

You really do need to keep up with the latest Moosh Brain
updates! What is the matter? Don't you get out much?

Just my opinion. But, I am *right* as usual!
