Handlebar tape bulge to replace anatomic bend

If you're asking how to simulate an "anatomic" bar on a standard round drop, it's pretty easy.
Just get a pair of handlebar shims (the type used when you're installing a 25.4mm handlebar into a
26.4mm old-style Cinelli stem, for example) and place them where you want the flat spot to be, and
wrap over them. Best to use some filament tape to hold the shims in place (underneath the
handlebar tape).

Profile sells, use to sell?, these shims and include them with their bars. You had a choice of using
them or not.
