handlebar dimensions - help needed

The only time I have seen dimension requirements noted as far as handlebars go os for the stem/bar
interface. My guess is that most other accoutrements (brakes, shifters, bar ends, etc.) have enough
adjustability to accommodate most bar diameters.

In short, it may not matter :-3)

There is no standardization for inside diameter, this varies considerably according to the material
chosen for the handlebar.

Flat and riser bars are all 22.2mm.

Aluminum drop bars are almost always 23.8mm. So are Nitto Mustache bars.

Steel drop bars are usually but not always 22.2mm.

Most BMX bars are 22.2mm, but a few are 25.4mm.
